Statement on deployment of ANC National Chairperson

The ANC has noted recent speculation about the deployment of ANC National Chairperson Baleka Mbete.The ANC wishes to clarify.
Mbete was not sworn in as a Member of Parliament on Wednesday this week because consultations about her deployment had not yet been concluded.
In considering the allocation of responsibilities of the senior leaders of the movement, the Officials have decided that Mbete should be deployed to work full time at ANC headquarters in Johannesburg. Back to top
